File names/location of sp & update files

Greetings. Where are the XP SP and critical update files stored and
named once downloaded from MS? Thank you.

HI, The install files are not saved. The critical updates are just
changes/addition to basic core Windows files.

If you want to download updates for later installs, you can use Windows Update
Catalog...
