Hii..

I have a virus on my comp...its the w32.blaster virus.. i had got it earlier..so i installed the patch n removed the virus thru the virus removal tool fixblast. however a few days later it happened again with me when i connected to the internet.. i was disconnected after a 60 sec warning n the comp shut off.. so i ran the fixblast tool i still had on my comp n it said no virus found...now ive been connected for more than an hr today (after a gap of 8 hrs maybe) n the virus has not struck as of now.. I am wondering if this is some new version of the w32, blaster virus or there is some other problem?? Please help... bec i dont know how to remove the virus since running the fixblast showed no virus..please email me on ***@yahoo.co

thanks

After the first time one would think that you would have
installed a firewall?

Sounds as if you got the Sasser Worm, which is a variant of the Blaster
version.

You can read here, then get the patch:
