Printer Port Error

Every time I start my PC I get an error message that says:
"EPSON PrinterPort
At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event
Viewer to examine the event log for details."
I tried uninstalling & reinstalling my printer, but am still getting this
message. My printer is working, but does make a lot of "rev'ing" up noises.
Is this failure serious or just a big inconvenience?
What do I need to do to fix it?

How old is this printer? You may need a new one. Go to the Epson
website and check for updated drivers.
