Download & install MS Virtual Machine Build 3805.
Then visit the Windows Update website to obtain the
security updated version (Build 3810).

SP1 and SP1a are considered one in the same since only SP1a is now the only
Windows XP Service Pack available from Microsoft. One cannot download
SP1 from Microsoft, only SP1a. Hence, referring to SP1 is now the same
as referring to SP1a.

Well I guess that M$ has done well. They save billions in revenue by
providing a news group for peer to peer H&S so they don't have to employ
anyone to do it. Keep lining Bill's pockets and buy the new Longhorn version
when it comes out. Hmmmmm, Longhorn, well if it lives up to its name it will
be full of Bull crap.

If it's available form your site, then why don't you just come out
and tell that to the posters looking for it in the first place?
Do you expect them to try to read your mind?

And if you read my other post, (and the posts of others who have told you
the same thing over and over and over again).
It has been said that it may be available someplace other then Microsoft,
but if the posters are going to Windows Update, it's not going to re-direct
them to your site now is it?
How many people who post here looking for the JVM are going to know that
they can get it in SP1, IF
they download it from you. IF you tell someone to get SP1, they are going to
go to Microsoft unless you
tell them something different. If they go to Microsoft, they are not going
to get SP1 but SP1a.
So the average person following your "it's in SP1" instructions is not going
to get the JVM now are they?
Don't get all bent out of shape because your unable to make a proper post.

sqr, this is from Microsofts site:

"Windows XP Service Pack 1
Release Date: September 9, 2002

How to Obtain
Service Pack 1 (SP1) is no longer available for download."

That as has been explained to you before, SP1 is no longer available
from Microsoft (you may be able to find it from another source).
If you go to windows update or the SP download area, all you can download is
SP1a
which does NOT contain the vm.
